i got rid of my precious bangs.

too many people have them...so time for something new.

i'm thinkin ombre. i've never dyed my hair before...

hat day.

hello my lovelies,
sorry i have not written in a while...
things have been super busy and stressful.
midterms have passed, but i am still busy writing papers and what not.
my birthday was  october 13th and it was one of the best because my husband spoils me, and i love being with him.
[ note: best birthday was last year when aaron proposed ;) ]
i'm 20 now!
so glad i'm not a teenager anymore. glad to be rid of the jokes.
what did i do on my birthday?
i woke up to a new MacBook Air from the love of my life sitting on our kitchen table. there were halloween peeps too. yum.
i cried and hugged/kissed aaron so many times... i wasn't expecting it at all.
then next we went up to salt lake city where we did a bit of shopping and i got so many cute new clothes (the top in the picture to the right is new & from J. Crew, LOVE IT). so glad my birthday is in october, during fall. shopping during the summer is boring. (in my opinion)
after shopping we went out to eat at Stoneground Grill, a yummy little place above a tattoo parlor that was to die for.
we were gonna get matching tats after but decided against that ;)
we came home, i did a little fashion show for my husband, and then we were off again.
Vivint was having a carnival for all its employees in Spanish Fork, so there we went! aaron's friends work for Vivint.
we got free shoes, candy, and hot chocolate.
they had some guys from Nitro Circus come and do some crazy stuff in the arena.
overall such a fun day.
my next post will have pictures of my birthday festivities and recent photos of randomness.

october 2012 general conference.

good afternoon everyone! 

just finished listening to the wonderful leaders of the LDS church

and i am truly humbled.

this conference was great, but i'd like to share with you my absolute favorite 

talk by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland.

He has always been such a phenomenal speaker.

love him, the other apostles, and our beloved first presidency.

so grateful for modern day revelation and such a wonderful prophet of God.

i am blessed to be a part of this great church.

finally one of my favorite months has arrived.

why is it one of my favorites?

it's my birthday month (big 2-0)

it's halloween so i get to dress up with aaron

lots of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies/bread/cupcakes

picking out pumpkins

going to corn mazes

drinking hot chocolate

and going to haunted houses

and not to mention FALL CLOTHING. yes.
