To say I have the best mom is an understatement.
She has been my best friend, mother, counselor, nurturer, and a righteous example.
My mom has been through some tough things, but she deserves the best.
I hope to be a wonderful mom to my kids like she has been to all three of us.
She has done so much for me; given me everything.
I had a great childhood, and looking back I can't complain.
So good job, Mom. Motherhood is tough, but you're awesome.
I love you very much.

insanity.

i'm six days into insanity workouts and i love it.
i feel so great, and the soreness is a reminder that i'm getting in better shape.

sunday hike.

finals week.

luckily i have this guy around to keep me sane.
i've completed three finals already and have two more this week. wish me luck!
then it's off to Georgia to see my husband's cute family!
can't wait for summer.

taylor andrews hair show.

i was invited to be a part of the 10th annual taylor andrews hair & fashion show last night!
it was such a great experience, i loved doing it.
we woke up early and went to hair & makeup, got breakfast, and ran through the show a couple times.
the show was at 7pm and my husband, aunt, dad & stepmom were all there along with everyone else's friends, family, and critics.
the proceeds went to the YWCA, which is awesome.

cupcakes.

i love my job.
so grateful that i work at such a happy place!
two lovely ladies came in yesterday and bought six dozen total cupcakes, which left us with almost nothing... so what do i do??
bake more!
my cute co-worker and i made more...for the very first time...and they look pretty dang good.

banana chocolate chip pancakes.

i made these delicious pancakes for dinner the other night. just add chocolate chips and some mashed banana to any old pancake recipe you have! so heavenly and satisfied my breakfast/sweet tooth craving!

speaking of sweet things...working at my favorite cupcake place in provo has been so fun. i'm loving my co-workers, and the delicious cupcakes and drinks. 

lately life has been super busy and school is coming to a close for the semester.

i can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and have a plan of when i'll be graduating! sooner than i expected, hooray! i sang an arrangement of "i know that my redeemer lives" in sacrament meeting today.  i love bearing my testimony through music. life is good right now, just busy. hope everyone is having a wonderful relaxing sunday like i am.

what a beautiful day.

it's literally 52 degrees outside and i'm in heaven.

it feels so good! can't wait for summer!

our quick trip to moab.

this weekend the husband and i + lots of our friends went to Moab.
we camped (kinda) and explored.
there was really warm weather during the day.
super cold at night.
we hiked and found caves.
we climbed and jumped on a huge sand hill.
i felt as though i was at the beach...but where was the ocean?
we ate buffalo/bison burgers and i walked to mcdonalds in the morning (from our campsite).
isn't really camping when you're on main street in Moab. sorry guys.
and a gay speeding ticket on our way home, sorry kyle.
overall really, really fun.

cabin fever.

this weekend we went up to sundance and stayed in this darling cabin. loved the decor! spent time with family and stayed warm during another snowstorm in the canyon.
saturday was the fashion show, which went went really well! so fun. so tiring. overall success! in between shows we went to dinner with my mom and siblings & my aunt and uncle. yummy food and good company.

hooray, it's finally february!

these are the things that are inspiring me this month:

we're silly, and we like to sleep in.

today is definitely a snow day... when it's snowing hard you just need to get back in bed and sleep a few more hours (missing class) and it's okay.

i don't feel bad at all...

hello.

hello everyone and happy saturday!
it's always nice to have a saturday just laying around and doing nothing...
recently i have become addicted to the show
American Horror Story
it's sooo good. but scary.
january is almost over.
it's been a COLD one.
these past few days have been in the 30's and
it basically feels like summer to us.
we can actually stand being outside for more than 10 seconds.

i can't wait for february...know why?


1) our one year anniversary (17th)
2) my cute husband's birthday (24th)
3) and i'm walking in a fashion show on the 9th
4) oh and valentine's day (14th)
*but i believe every day should be valentine's day ;)
basically i'm welcoming february with open arms.

hello my dear friends that follow my blog,
as you may have noticed, i am quite inconsistent with my blogging, and try to post something whenever I get the chance.
new goal: new post every saturday
but I will also try to post tuesdays and thursdays as well. (just don't hold me to it!) but i will for sure give you some new stuff on saturdays.
saturdays are great days!

today i just got home from a fashion show run-through where i am helping to coach the models on how to walk properly. (yes, i am also in the show!) i'm really excited...i am modeling for a great designer here at BYU. should be an awesome show!

i wanted to share with you some pics from my little adventure to Park City, UT recently! my husband and i went up with his friend kyle. we walked main street, ate yummy food, and went hot tubbing. oh and the drive up was beautiful.
