here we are in augusta, ga.

oh how we love our nieces and nephews.

(top: ruby, raegan, jack, and grace, lucy. bottom: all the kiddos, aurora, ty)

we are in georgia this weekend visiting aaron's family for our niece grace's baptism. She's the blonde little girl in the pink skirt.  we adore all of these little kiddos, they are so cute.
we're also happy to be visiting their mommy's and daddy's because they're awesome too!
aaron's parents are here as well, and they love to spoil everyone.
i love visiting aaron's family, we always have so much fun together...and struggle saying goodbye.

i'm singing at grace's baptism, wish me luck...
i have a terrible head cold.
bleh.

more pictures from this weekend coming soon...i hope!
aaron got the new iPhone 5 so maybe i'll put up one of his panoramas. (a new feature on the camera)
hooray for technology.
love you all,
xo

7 months of marriage, yesterday.

yeah i'm a day late...and a dollar short.
but yesterday was my 7 month anniversary being married to Aaron!

him: "why do we have to celebrate every month?"
me: "cause pretty soon we'll only be celebrating every year"

who doesn't want a reason to celebrate? so i told him he better think of something to do after we were done with classes for the day.
and he did.
such a good little husband. :)

he was so sweet.
we went to dinner at The Black Sheep Cafe on University Ave. [YUM] and then we headed to the mall where he sat me down on the bench and said "today we are going to get you some new boots.  i don't care how much they are." um, best thing ever, right?
yep.
note: the ones i was wearing right then were TRASHED.

so i got some cute black lace up boots by steve madden.

then we saw spider-man (at the dollar theatre)
what a great night :)

I love my Aaron! So lucky to have him.

too bad we're both sickly (cold symptoms)

i am a new representative for ModestPop!

An intense summer heat wave had Camille McConnell wishing she had more clothes that didn’t require any layering. Have you ever wanted to just wear one shirt and not have to put anything under it? We have too. So, modestpop.com was born, selling modest tops, sweaters, skirts, and dresses, all high-quality and $20 or less.  We’ve gotcha covered.

but seriously go to modestpop.com right now and check out their super cute stuff for SO CHEAP. it doesn't last long, so make sure you're quick to buy!
make sure you enter your coupon code: spencer
i'll love you forever! let me know how everything works out, i'm so excited for this.
for all you women out there who would love just one shirt that you don't have to layer in the hot summer, this is the website for you!

love you guys! happy shopping!

9/11, a day that will always be remembered.

hello everyone,

i'd like to share with you where i was/what i remember of that terrible day.

i was just in elementary school in mrs. beer's 2nd grade class. (i think it was 2nd grade)
and a teacher came in to our classroom and whispered something to my teacher.  right then she turned on the TV as we saw the repeated footage of the 2nd plane flying into the trade center and BREAKING NEWS across the screen. my teacher watched as she covered her mouth, and then explained to us a little bit about what exactly was going on.
i'm pretty sure school went on as usual and it didn't get cancelled (i could be wrong)
but when it was time to go home i ran and saw my mom sitting on the edge of the couch with the news on talking to someone on the phone.  she kept saying she couldn't believe this had happened.
i was little so i needed a lot of explaining but i could understand that some little girl out there, like me, wouldn't have her daddy coming home to her that night.

there were so many heroes that day. firefighters, police men, workers, and innocent civilians.
my heart goes out to all those who have lost a loved one on 9/11.

here is my favorite video that makes me cry every time. please watch, i know you'll love it. make sure you have a kleenex close ;)

the utah state fair with my favorite boy.

ah saturday is here!
i love saturdays.

last night i went to the utah state fair with aaron, and had a blast!
i wore four inch heels...everyone was staring. i could walk fine in the bumpy grass, it was just that i was so tall.
i also wore bright green pants and a polka dot shirt...so that could have also triggered their attention. ha

some drunk girl told me i looked like taylor swift (which i do not) and whenever we'd run into them she'd be like "hey tay tay!" haha

aaron and i got some yummy watermelon for $1, and turns out the little girl that helped us went missing that night...i'm sure she was just going on some rides... (let's hope, because i don't know what happened)

on a lighter note...

here's some pics from aaron's iphone of us having a blast on the ferris wheel.
so romantic. <3

then later we went to Leatherby's in slc for some delicious shakes! hooray!
we love the state fair! xoxo

lots of love goin on.

happy sunday!

hope everyone is doing well. it's a beautiful day today, how are you spending it?

after i write this post i am going out to play a few hours of tennis because i am trying out for the women's tennis team at byu. wish me luck. try outs are on wednesday!
the nerves are starting to hit me.

in church today i heard this quote:

"Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved."

i'm in love with that saying... why? because the people you love (family, friends, etc) are all we get to take with us when we die.  it won't matter how much money we made or how many promotions we got at work, all that will matter are the things we have done for other people and our relationship with God and our loved ones.

i love my husband more than i thought i could ever love anyone/anything.
it's crazy!
yesterday we went on an all day date that consisted of shopping, eating out, byu women's soccer game, and ate belgian waffles. we flirted and played all day, and it was very enjoyable.
who says you can't continue dating when you're married? (yes it'll be harder with kids, but we are going to still. we love it!)
